Of course Emil has lots to say about the game he spent so much time and passion developing, but here in this clip he sums it up into two things:
Two goals for the game. To provide a board game experience for Mass Effects style game. And to put emotional attachments in the game.

Here is a short clip showing Rogue Angels in Tabletop Simulator! It’s interesting that he really likes this game even though it is not the type of game he normally likes. He really really likes how the designer made this game.

It’s nice to hear how they saw how easy it was for people to catch on to how to play Rogue Angels, even those who have never played this type of game and how quickly they slot inito how the game works! They liked the missions and the maps!!

This clip is a nice example of how easy it is to do a mission update! Just remove what the campaign book says to remove and add what it says to add to the map! Piece of cake!

And the answer to that question is: Most likely, YES! It WILL fit on YOUR table! :)
One of the many nice things about Rogue Angels is that four people can play the game around a normal sized card table (33 inch square). [this is NOT the case with many/most other legacy games]
Note: Rogue Angels is still a prototype and things might change in the final game.
To see if everything will fit around YOUR table, you could cut out some paper placeholders and then set them on your table to see how they will fit.
YES, I actually have done that for some games before ordering (or pledging for) them. Here is an article I wrote trying to figure out how many people could play the game Doomlings around various kinds of tables (and, yes, I had a prototype for Doomlings too:). For a simple card game, Doomlings took up A LOT OF SPACE!
=> My article on fitting Doomlings on tables
Most important with Rogue Angels: The main map and Ship Box map will need to be on the table; likely at the top of the table or near the center of the table. Space needed is 24 inches by 12 inches.

Players can sit below, above or to the side of the maps and need only a small amount of space for their character board and cards played on their cooldown track. Space needed is 10 inches wide 8 inches high per player.

I enjoyed these guys. Especially when they said that they enjoy playing games (but weren’t necessarily good at it:) Along with the clip I added this note from their one minute:
Really liked the way damage is done. Really really adored the combat system which was “different”. Map book should be the gold standard.

This is a very small but perfectly adequate dice tower. Rogue Angels only has four dice, and all four dice would roll easily in this personal dice tower. The dice also could be stored inside the dice tower and then it will fit inside the game box as well (for me with the prototype – the final game box may have inserts that hold the dice).

While most dice towers require table space, this personal dice tower could actually be set on top of a card just to roll the dice, and then held in your hand as you decide what to do with the dice roll. When you set it on the table it only requires 3.8 inches by 2.2 inches of space.
I found this one on Etsy. There are other similar ones, but it is a good example:
I purchased this myself at regular price and tested it with my prototype copy of Rogue Angels. The final game may differ.
Read about a dice tower storage box that is slightly bigger but will hold all the player cards as well as dice and tokens here:

I added a page where I will link to where you can find more info and backstory to our 16 heroes here:

Critical Fail got to play some missions with the prototype and has called Rogue Angels the “pick of the month”!
