Here is one of the first looks at all sixteen miniatures for the 16 heroes in Rogue Angels. First a short under 1 minute video followed by four photos:
Now … here are four photos taken from the four sides of the lazy susan. Can you identify all 16 heroes? I am also posting these in the BoardGameGeek (BGG) forum for Rogue Angels, so I numbered them to help you submit your guess over there! I’d like to use the Board Game Geek forum for this because you can submit your guess as to who each of these 16 heroes are without spoiling it for others. When you add a comment to reply to my posts with photos of the Heroes, simply click on the A icon to get the text options … then choose the second to the last option: “spoilers” … just type in your answers, then highlight your answers and click the “eye” icon with the line through it. That will HIDE your answer so other people won’t see it (unless they click on it:)

Type your answer, highlight it … then click “spoilers”:

Here are the four photos of the 16 hero miniatures (on BGG – Board Game Geek):
Note: the miniatures are prototypes. The final miniatures should be higher quality.
And, yes … you HAVE heard those words before … “Who are those guys?” It was from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid:
Thank you Shamus (on BoardGameGeek) for the idea of making our own custom dice to go with the Print and Play edition!
You can see his dice face template on BGG here:
=> Custom Dice
You can see him using them in his video here:
I’m not sure what blank dice he used, but I purchased some blank dice from The Game Crafter a few months ago to make my own custom dice for the Rogue Angels prototype game. They might work with the dice faces provided by Shamus:
=> Purple indented faces D6
(available in 7 different colors – so you can get three colors for the three type of dice used by the Print and Play edition of Rogue Angels)
You can try out the Action Cards from most of the Heroes as adapted for the Print and Play edition. You also can try out the Character Sheet for four of the Heroes as well (see end of this article).
Action Cards came from which Heroes?

I formerly thought that the Print and Play edition of Rogue Angels would involve LOTS of printing. Now I found out that you only need to print SEVEN pages to be able to play the game (using your phone, tablet or computer to read the manual and campaign book).
Ummm… you just want the link to the file and you will take it from there? OK:
=> Download Print and Play Zip file (free)
Meanwhile… I am going to give it a try. Want to try it along with me? Here is what you need (to know):
Minimal Printing (just 7 pages):
* You can insert the map into a clear plastic sheet protector to use it over and over with dry erase markers to draw the walls etc.
Full Fledged Everything Printing (just 28 pages):
Here is what it looks like after I printed it all:

Wondering what games I played last month?

I have purchased dozens of board games via Kickstarter over the past few years, and no matter how good they plan things, almost every time the delivery date gets extended (often several times). One very well known and respected company still hasn’t even opened their pledge manager for the game I pledged and paid for on July 1 2022 (nearly three years ago). Another very well known and respected company has over 40 people on their development team, and they consistently have delay after delay on their games delivery dates.
So, while it is not out of the ordinary (and almost expected) it is unfortunate that Rogue Angels also has met delays in its estimated delivery date. But I do thank Emil for keeping to his very high standards and not cutting corners to ship his game sooner. The other two companies that I referred to above also have specifically stated that they would rather delay producing their game than lower their standards to rush it out the door. One actually had someone fly to China to check on production quality issues!
So … while we are waiting, perhaps I can come up with some interesting articles regarding Rogue Angels. Maybe a closer look at each of the 16 heroes would be of interest! I have spent hours and hours and hours comparing them and it is quite fascinating how unique each hero is. Here they are (as standees from the prototype) … you can click to zoom in:

If you’d like to hear a good discussion (that is not too long) about WHAT Rogue Angels is like … check out this video … it is queued to the spot where they talk about Rogue Angels:
=> Kickstarter Update #38
=> GameFound Update #17 (the same update)
Highlights:
Summary: More artwork for the campaign books, a ton of editor work done, manufacturer is done with the molds, thoughts on tariffs, and pushing the delivery date to September 2025.
Also, note that there are fewer than 200 games left on Gamefound for late-pledges.

NextMars has been providing more scenes for the Campaign Books… Examples:

If you have been holding off getting your own copy of Rogue Angels, you may want to take the plunge and put in a Late Pledge now before all copies are reserved (by pledges and late pledges). There are less than 200 copies available now.
Late Pledge for the game costs 117 Euro.
