Print and Play (Free, Easy, Just 7 Pages to Print)

I formerly thought that the Print and Play edition of Rogue Angels would involve LOTS of printing. Now I found out that you only need to print SEVEN pages to be able to play the game (using your phone, tablet or computer to read the manual and campaign book).

Ummm… you just want the link to the file and you will take it from there? OK:
=> Download Print and Play Zip file (free)

Meanwhile… I am going to give it a try. Want to try it along with me? Here is what you need (to know):

Minimal Printing (just 7 pages):

  1. 3 pages of Action Cards (48 cards)
  2. 2 pages of Hero Sheets with dice and player aid cards (front and back sides)
  3. 1 page of tokens
  4. 1 page map *
  5. Read the Rules and Campaign book digitally

* You can insert the map into a clear plastic sheet protector to use it over and over with dry erase markers to draw the walls etc.

Full Fledged Everything Printing (just 28 pages):

  1. 10 pages for Rulebook (2 pages per sheet)
    • 20 pages if your printer can’t print 2 pages per sheet or if you need font size to be larger
  2. 8 pages for Campaign Book (2 pages per sheet)
    • 16 pages if your printer can’t print 2 pages per sheet or if you need the font to be larger
  3. 3 pages of Action Cards back side **
  4. 3 pages of Action Cards front side **
  5. 2 pages of Hero Sheets with dice and player aid cards (front and back sides)
  6. 1 page of tokens
  7. 1 page map

Here is what it looks like after I printed it all:

and the rulebook and campaign book:

The campaign book works perfectly with two pages per sheet because each mission is presented on two pages!

** Images are presented for both the front and the back sides of the cards. You can glue them together, or better yet, put them into clear plastic sleeves. What size sleeves to get will depend on how your printer prints them (and the type of paper … USA and Europe have different sizes for “standard” paper). With my printer and US paper the cards were American Mini size. I did research and found these to be a good choice for me: Sleeve Kings

=> www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ2ZGPX
(yeah, I know that there are enough sleeves for TWO copies of the Print and Play game:)

Here is what the Action Cards look like after I cut them out (should be OK to use as is, but I already printed the back sides plus ordered the clear plastic card sleeves):

I noticed that the cards looked familiar… and yep, all but one of them are from the Hero action cards in the full game! One actually is from the Weapon Pack that you MIGHT find in your missions in the standard game! Here is the list of cards along with which Hero it came from:

Each of your two Heroes gets one of each Basic Action card. Plus you get to pick any FIVE from the 45 unique cards for each of the two Heroes. If you’d like a balanced Hero, pick one of each “type” of Action card:

  1. Attack
  2. Effect (tends towards Attack)
  3. Hack
  4. Heal
  5. Jump or Move

Or, f you’d like to get a feel for how a specific Hero fits your “style” of play, pick the cards with that Hero’s name after it (and fill in the rest of the five).

Or, have one of your Heroes heavy on Attack and the other better at Hacking or Moving.

It’s your choice! It’s a choose your own Hero mission!

PLUS, in addition to the unique Action cards, you get to choose one of four different Hero sheets that provides a unique ability plus a set amount of shields and focus.
