- Gray is details about the rules of the card.
- Blue means primarily a positive effect.
- Red means a primarily negative effect.
The Mind of a Ronin: You can use this effect card only one time during the entire mission. Once you play this card, it’s effect lets you heal yourself (remove 1 damage card) on each of your turns as long as the card is on your cooldown track. Plus, each time you use the effect it does not count as one of your two actions! However, the downside of the card is that you are not allowed to gain shields as long as the card is in your cooldown track. But the other plus to this card is that anytime a damage card is drawn, you place it 2 spots left of where the slot the damage card indicates (ie, never in slots 3 or 4 unless prior slots are full). When this card leaves your cooldown track you gain 1 focus (and it is unavailable for the rest of the mission).
The Attack of a Ronin: After moving, if you end adjacent to an enemy either gain 2 focus or if this was your first action, for your next action you can place your card (if it is a weapon) on one slot left of it’s indicated cooldown slot. Plus if you are the only hero adjacent to the enemy you also can move an ally 2 squares.
Nacre Vambraces: When you play this effect card you may begin placing a token on the card each time you lose a shield (up to 4 tokens). Then when the card leaves your cooldown track you gain either a shield, focus or movement for each token on the card (can be a mix).
Tethyan Dagger: After dealing the 1 unblockable damage from this card you then can move the number of squares as the range of your attack (up to range 3). If you place the card in cooldown slot 1 you will get it back in your hand during your free rest action to use again next turn.
