Gia U’Coni is one of four Heroes that has had all five of her Action Cards updated. Let’s take a look at those five standard Action Cards, starting with her very UNIQUE card:

Gia is the only hero with the ability to cloak (just like Klingons do in Star Trek). And just like Captain Kirk could KIND OF determine where a cloaked Klingon ship was, enemies do kind of know where you are and can move towards you. However, they do not know exactly where you are so they cannot target you in an attack. But, also like how a Klingon ship had to become visible again to attack, you lose this card and it’s ability if you attack or interact with an object! However, you CAN be damaged by global or indirect effects. If a mission has rocks fall on the square that you are on, those rocks WILL hit you! :) Oh … and what changed? The yellow boost now gives you TWO additional dice (before it was only 1 die). Also note the icon in the top right of the card … that icon means the card stays active as long as it is on your cool down track!

Blade Flurry also is very interesting card! The number of dice for Blade Flurry was reduced to 3, and since each die can allow a repeated attack 1 or 2 more times, I can see how 4 dice might have made it overpowered. However, before, in order to repeat this attack you had to first move via a move on one of the die. This update now GIVES you that move! However, the other limiting factor with this attack is that it is only 1 damage, which will NOT hurt any enemy that has a shield!
Note that how many times you may repeat this attack starts at [0], so you cannot repeat the attack unless you roll at least one +1 or +2.

Before, Infiltration Units only did [2] interactions but it also gave you one die that could increase it +1 or +2. It now is 3 interactions by default AND it’s range was increased from 2 up to 3 (so you can hack form further away). Plus, before your repeated interactions (via 2 focus) had to be on the same object. Now it also can be on a different object (perfect if you 100% hacked the first one already).

This card is a good example of versatility. You determine how much damage you do based on what cool down slot you place the card! If you place the card in cool down slot 1 you will get the card back again to use next turn (during your free end of turn rest action). However, if you place the card on cool down slot 4, you do 4 damage. What changed was that now you also roll 1 die (before it was 0 die), so you just might roll a move (1 or 2 squares) that would get you into range if you were just out of range initially at a range of 6. Yeah, if you do not roll a move, you can’t do any damage from range 6, but maybe it is a risk worth taking (I have taken such risks in prior games)

This used to be called Tactical Positioning:) It also changed your bonus after moving to be 2 shields. Before it was 1 shield and 1 focus. But it also changed the condition on which you get this bonus to having no enemies in your Line Of Sight (LOS). Before they only had to be within a range of 3.
And let’s end with a rotating look at the Gia miniature:
