=> Kickstarter Update #57
=> GameFound Update #36 (should be the same)
Highlights:
No problems so far on the manufacturing end (this is good). The manufacturer is to send Emil e-proofs of the prints and cuts on October 8 (yay).
The Pledge Manager is postponed until Emil knows the exact weight of the game.

Small tweak on the black dice adjusting the blue shield image so it would be clearer on the final dice.

Another minor (very minor) tweak was expanding the cardboard on the punchboards to be 2mm larger on all edges to give them more initial integrity (no change to the punchboard punchouts themselves though).

Emil will be meeting with the manufacturer (MagiCraft) at SPIEL in Essen and hopefully they will bring printed material for him to verify / confirm. Meanwhile Emil is waiting for the e-proofs to verify cuts and print composition.
The timeline has more GREEN in it now (yay):

- (*) Pre-production done. These will enter production alongside the rest.
- (**) Pre-production underway at manufacturer.
- (***) Awaiting pre-production at manufacturer.

This will be part of the Pledge Manager and Emil wants to activate it as soon as he can, but once announced the shipping prices will be locked in and he can’t afford to be wrong :) He needs the exact weight of the box to complete shipping cost estimates, so the Pledge Manager won’t open till he gets that info and adjusts the shipping fees accordingly.
Right now, it looks like there will be 1 shipping hub in the USA, 1 in Europe and 1 in Asia / Oceania. Shipping prices should be fair to 95% of the locations (and he is looking into suitable solutions for that those final locations). Just to let us all know … container freight prices on the ships are now at an ALL TIME HIGH! However, tariffs are stable (for now).

Emil has plans to meet up with several contacts at Essen .. as as before, will have a Rogue Angels backpack!

If you’d like to meet up with Emil at Essen, contact him via Discord.

Once this game is in all the backer’s hands, Emil is considering doing a reprint of the game, perhaps with a small expansion (as long as it does not “break” anything, is balanced and keeps the story or progression in focus. Oh, and it must fit in the existing box! It must NOT be essential to the game but just adding to what people enjoy about the game!
Emil also tossed around some thoughts about two games he is developing (not related to Rogue Angels at all): Grid Math and Wildlife Whiz. He also is considering doing an update to his Burning Suns game (that came out prior to Rogue Angels and is in the same “universe”).
Meanwhile, Rogue Angels is firmly in the hands of the manufacturer and he has confidence in it moving along as it should.
