Using thin Lego Plates for Walls

I can’t take credit for the idea (I remember reading about it somewhere a few months ago) but I am trying it out now!

I bought a bag of 100 thin red Lego®* Plates and will be placing them on top of the “walls” on the maps. This will add a bit of realism to the maps where the walls actually come up off the map (via the Lego® plates). Here is what the first mission’s first map looks like as I set it up:

This makes the walls OBVIOUS plus more realistic since they are actually raised up off the printed page! You may already have bags of Lego® pieces that you can use for this (they do not have to be red you know). However, if you need to purchase them, this is the source that I used:

=> The Lego Ladies (100 red plates)

They also have them available in packs of 100 white or 100 black.

Note from the Lego website: If the LEGO trademark is used at all, it should always be used as an adjective, not as a noun. For example, say “MODELS BUILT OF LEGO BRICKS”. Never say “MODELS BUILT OF LEGOs” [and]… the LEGO trademark should always appear with a ® symbol each time it is used.
