What is a “1 minute video clip?” I hear you asking!

With close to 90 videos about Rogue Angels, it would be hard for you to watch them all. So I thought a very short (ie, 1 minute) clip from each longer video might give you a chance to see the wide range of reviewers, previewers, explainers and livestreamers that have weighed in on Rogue Angels. So, I spent the time (lots of time) going through all the English videos aiming to capture a representative 1 minute clip from each! Please let me know how I did! Next, I thought I might just feature ONE of the 1 minute video clips each day for you to enjoy! If you like it, you can easily watch the full video using the included “full video” link!

I’d like to kick off this series of 1 minute video clips with the one that first grabbed my interest over a year ago, from one of my favorite board game reviewers (Kim Tolson of Tabletop Tolson):

1 minute clips from nearly 90 Videos

I finished a page listing YouTube videos about Rogue Angels alphabetically by the reviewer name, so it will be easy for you to find a reviewer that you know and like to see what they have posted about Rogue Angels.

But the fun part of this list is that there are two links for each video. One is a link to the full video. The other link is a 1 minute clip that I captured from the video which gives you a very quick way to watch dozens of videos about Rogue Angels in a very short time.

The list also includes videos in languages other than English.

  1. Reached the 7th Stretch Goal (extra sticker sheets)
  2. Next Stretch Goals:
    • 90K Euros – 1 new type of enemy (with 4 standees)
    • 95K Euros – 4 new companions / crew
    • 100K Euros – 2 extra card packs (of 4 cards & tokens)
      • They will work like cards but have a representation on the board
  3. Tabletopia will be putting Rogue Angels into their system

  2. The player’s ship (shipbox) will be called “Sun Shard” as determined by community votes!
    • Runner up choices for the ship’s name were: Wayfarer, Hope’s Shadow, Relentless Angel, Hunter’s Fang
  3. Online Rogue Angels:

    • As of September 17, 2023: 88 videos, duration 6 hours 58 minutes
  5. Leviathans
    • => Official background
    • One of the dominant civilizations in the galaxy
    • They have advanced communications technology and can manipulate electric signals
    • They are very strong  with armored exoskeletons.
    • They are territorial and competitive (and hard to hang around with)
    • => Background story of Antathys (a male Leviathan)
  6. Looking Forward
    • Emil discussed marketing (ads) with a company, but they wanted $45 for every $115 pledged. This is not feasible for a small publisher (Emil). So we can help in these ways:

  1. Name The Spaceship
    Remember that the game box also becomes the spaceship … from the outside:

    So, it is important that THIS spaceship has an appropriate name!

    Lisa, Martin and Emil poured over the many suggestions submitted as possible names for the Rogue Angels ship, and narrowed it down five. Now they would like us to vote on the name we prefer (voting open through September 14)!
