Kickstarter delivery date changes

I have purchased dozens of board games via Kickstarter over the past few years, and no matter how good they plan things, almost every time the delivery date gets extended (often several times).  One very well known and respected company still hasn’t even opened their pledge manager for the game I pledged and paid for on July 1 2022 (nearly three years ago). Another very well known and respected company has over 40 people on their development team, and they consistently have delay after delay on their games delivery dates.

So, while it is not out of the ordinary (and almost expected) it is unfortunate that Rogue Angels also has met delays in its estimated delivery date. But I do thank Emil for keeping to his very high standards and not cutting corners to ship his game sooner. The other two companies that I referred to above also have specifically stated that they would rather delay producing their game than lower their standards to rush it out the door. One actually had someone fly to China to check on production quality issues!

So … while we are waiting, perhaps I can come up with some interesting articles regarding Rogue Angels. Maybe a closer look at each of the 16 heroes would be of interest! I have spent hours and hours and hours comparing them and it is quite fascinating how unique each hero is. Here they are (as standees from the prototype) … you can click to zoom in:
