Hacking (Secret Six)

Hacking and Interacting is a key element to Rogue Angels. You will be doing it A LOT. And these six heroes give you an edge of hacking from further than just adjacent (plus the sixth hero on this list lets you choose what color the first token is). I also included an honorable mention for 5 other heroes at the end! Quick summary:

• Interact from the furthest distance:
  1. Range 8: Laelia (with dice roll or +2 and +2)
  2. Range 5: Adryel (with blue token)
  3. Range 4: Memnon, Eradicator
• Interact with the most tokens:
  1. 8 tokens: Gia (spending 1 focus to repeat the interact with +2 die roll each time).
  2. 6 tokens: Memnon (with +2 die roll and red token)
  3. 5 tokens: Talya (with +2 die roll and yellow token)
• Interact with more objects in the same action:
  1. 2 objects: Gia
• Interact and choose the color of the token:
  1. Talya

(1) Hacking Device

Hero: Memnon – Hacks from the furthest away (without needed a good die roll or token). PLUS gets 3 interact tokens (even more with a good die roll and an extra one using a red token).

(2) Infiltration Units

Hero: Gia – [Card was updated from the prototype] Gia is the only hero who can interact with TWO objects during the same action. Plus either or both objects can be at range 3 (does not need to be adjacent). You can even interact with the same object TWICE. Note that the second time performing the interact costs 1 focus. Plus a die roll can increase the number of interact tokens each time (up to 4 interact tokens each time with a +2 die roll).

(3) Hacker Drone

Hero: Jastin – This is an EFFECT card! As long as it is on your cooldown track you get a “free” interaction with an object which can be up to range 3! Plus you can draw two interact tokens! When you play this card, it is best to play it to cooldown track slot 4 so it lasts as long as possible.

(4) Hacking Drone

Hero: Laelia – This card was almost put at the top of this list because Laelia can interact with an object from as far as 8 squares away (with a good dice roll of +2 and +2). Memnon can only interact from a distance of 4, so Laelia has the furthest interaction by far! Draw two interact tokens when you play this card.

(5) Communication Device

Hero: Adryel – Can interact from a distance up to 3 squares away. Plus your die roll can increase the number of interact tokens to draw from 2 up to 4!  Plus a blue token will increase the range to 5 which is better than Memnon, but not quite as far as Laelia.

(6) Hacker Specialist

Hero: Talya – Some may place this card at the top of the list because Talya is the only hero who can choose the color of the interact token (as long as it is her first action and only for the first token drawn). Just look through the bag of tokens and take the one that you want (can even be white if there are no more of the color token you want left in the bag). Plus a good die roll can increase the number of tokens from 2 up to 4 (with a +2 die roll). However, the object must be adjacent!

2. Hiro (range 2 interact 2 plus 1 die)
3. Vera (adjacent interact 2 plus 2 dice)
4. Bassilus (adjacent interact 1 plus 3 dice)
5. Sigyn (adjacent interact for X plus 1 die – X is the number of the cooldown slot you place the card)
